Job Context:
∎ The candidate will cover the Incoming Quality Manager open position in the Operations Quality Department and will contribute to the development and supervision of supplier quality processes in textile industry
∎ Responding to the APAC Quality Manager, the candidate will lead a small local Quality team aimed at overseeing compliance on fabrics and yarn with quality standards and at promptly intervening in solving and preventing Vendor incoming quality problems
∎ The candidate will collaborate with the local Operations team and with the Head Quarter (HQ) global Quality & Procurement functions
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structuring support to Vendors in Incoming Quality improving fabrics detection and color conformity for incoming materials and accessories
∎ Support to Quality Development stream focusing on fabrics conformity on proto and samples phase following Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology
∎ Manage fabric compliance verification activities in terms of mechanical, color and performance tests with a dedicated team
∎ Support to Tier-1 garment Vendors in structuring a Supplier Quality function capable of interfacing with Tier-2 Fabric Mill
∎ Carrying out process audits on the Tier-1 Incoming Control areas
∎ Creation of a fabric shipment control and release procedure for early verification of compliance with Benetton quality requirements on fabrics
∎ Supervision of chemical tests on fabrics and finished garments in the Operations Platform
∎ Supervision of the assignment and verification of the care label for washing fabrics and finished garments
∎ Data processing and monitoring of supplier performance with summary tools and KPIs
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Proven experiences in productive context for manufacturing, treatment, stabilization of circular knitted fabrics and yarns
∎ Previous work experience in contact with tools of continuous improvement methodologies in the Manufacturing area (e.g. World Class Manufacturing)
∎ Proven working experience with Microsoft Office tools
∎ Proven working experience on data analysis
∎ Fluent knowledge of English (written & spoken)
∎ Fluent or basic knowledge of Italian language could be considered a plus
∎ Great communications and relationals skills
∎ Proactive approach in potential Quality issues identification
∎ Strong leadership
