Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure timely approvals for base fabrics, lab dips, strike-offs, trims, wash shades and print strike-offs
∎ Oversee daily activities of the Merchandiser, Fabric Technician, and Wash Technician teams to ensure alignment with production timelines
∎ Monitor the approval process to ensure vendors receive correct materials (fabric, trims, washes) as per specifications
∎ Ensure proper approval for print strike-offs, garment dye, over-dye, and critical washes
∎ Monitor these approvals through factory visits and immediately address any shade range deviations within tolerance
∎ Report discrepancies in materials, samples, or approvals and provide the reason for range variations to HQ via email
∎ Guide vendors on corrective actions to resolve issues and avoid production delays
∎ Ensure all approval processes (fabric, trims, wash) and prioritize critical tasks to meet production deadlines
∎ Manage MSC (Supply Chain Mapping Chart) situations in IRIS system
∎ Oversee trims and wash shade approvals, ensuring consistency in quality and delivery
∎ Ensure timely follow-up on orders, approvals, and materials and pending issues to keep production on track
∎ Ensure garments and fabrics meet required test parameters, including colorfastness, shrinkage, tensile strength, and other quality metrics
∎ Monitor test results and collaborate with the fabric and wash teams to ensure compliance
∎ Ensure clear communication with HQ and vendors on approvals, discrepancies, and actions required
∎ Offer technical advice to vendors on fabric, trims, wash techniques, and production issues
∎ Ensure all materials (fabric, trims, washes) meet required quality standards
∎ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with production specifications
∎ Other related works assigned time to time
