• 10-15 years of progressive, buyer-certified QA leadership experience in export-oriented RMG, with a proven track record in fast-fashion woven product categories.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end quality assurance processes, including sample approval, inline audits, final inspections, and technical audits.

• Prior leadership experience as Head of Sample QA / Senior QA Manager in reputed fast-fashion organizations will be strongly preferred.

• In-depth technical knowledge of woven garment construction, finishing techniques, trims, and accessories, with the ability to set and enforce global quality standards.

• Advanced proficiency in statistical QC tools, lean quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing QA teams.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset for risk management and process optimization.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills, ensuring seamless collaboration between buyers, merchandising, production, and technical teams.

• Proven ownership in execution, with a reputation for delivering consistent quality outcomes under tight fast-fashion timelines.

We are seeking a seasoned, system-driven, and buyer-focused Head of Quality to lead end-to-end quality governance across sample development and production operations, ensuring product integrity, process reliability, and technical compliance at every stage.

Role Overview

The Head of Quality will oversee the complete QA function across sample and manufacturing, driving international standards compliance, buyer technical alignment, audit readiness, and continuous improvement culture.

This role carries full ownership of buyer inspection outcomes and technical audit performance ensuring speed and commercial accuracy across fast-fashion woven (light to medium) categories (Ladies Tops ~60%, Men's Tops/Bottoms ~30%, Blazers ~10%).

Position Details

Position: Head of Quality (Sample & Development)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-spectrum quality control: incoming, in-process, section-wise & finished goods inspection

• Supervise sample evaluation and production approval (measurement, workmanship, fitting, trims & construction)

• Ensure seamless buyer-focused quality readiness from development to bulk production

• Oversee QC cycle including PP meetings, cutting approval, inline inspection & reporting

• Develop and maintain QA systems aligned with buyer, audit & business requirements

• Drive process control, defect prevention, lean QC tools & quality visualization

• Lead buyer technical audits, manage inspection failures & ensure corrective actions

• Handle buyer claims with timely resolution and preventive action

• Ensure alignment between internal systems and buyer compliance standards

• Monitor SOP implementation, cut-to-ship ratio, NPT reduction & material rejection control

• Analyze statistical quality data and establish reliability benchmarks

• Share performance insights with production, merchandising & management

• Design and conduct quality training to strengthen cross-functional capability

• Coordinate with production, design & technical teams for consistent execution

• Embed continuous improvement and strict SOP adherence across operations
