Experience:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in RMG factory electro-mechanical systems & utilities
• Strong understanding of factory utilities & compliance requirements
• Experience working with PMO / PMC frameworks is preferred
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively
• Strong reporting, documentation & technical evaluation skills
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Office tools
• Ability to work under pressure with strong execution focus
Fashion Step Group is strengthening its Engineering & Project Management function and is looking for technically competent, execution-focused, and proactive Electro-Mechanical Engineers to support factory infrastructure, utilities, compliance, and project execution across all business units.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in factory utilities, maintenance coordination, project implementation, and technical compliance within export-oriented manufacturing environments.
Position Overview:
The Executive / Sr. Executive (Electro-Mechanical Engineer) will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating electro-mechanical systems, utilities, and engineering projects across factories.
The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, utility management, safety compliance, preventive maintenance, and project coordination to ensure uninterrupted factory operations and infrastructure reliability.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and coordinate electro-mechanical projects, maintenance activities, and utility operations
• Supervise factory utilities including power distribution, generators, substations, HVAC, boilers, compressors, fire protection, water treatment, and ETP systems
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, layouts, specifications, and contractor submissions
• Track project progress, identify operational risks, and ensure timely execution
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of utility and engineering systems
• Ensure compliance with RSC, electrical safety standards, building safety requirements, and statutory regulations
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, earthing, electrical safety, and safe work practices
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution
• Verify contractor bills, work completion status, and technical documentation
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, utility performance analysis, and management dashboards
