Additional Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in RMG factory electro-mechanical systems & utilities management
  • Strong hands-on expertise in execution, maintenance, and factory utility operations
  • Proven experience in Buyer Audit handling, compliance initiatives & CAP closure
  • Strong knowledge of automation, PLC/VFD systems, energy saving projects & process optimization
  • Sound understanding of fire safety, electrical standards, and statutory compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership capability in managing multi-site engineering teams
  • Excellent reporting, documentation & technical decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP & MS Office tools
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong ownership mindset


Responsibilities & Context:

The Deputy Manager/Manager (Electro & Mechanical) will take full ownership of planning, execution control, maintenance governance, and technical leadership of all electro-mechanical systems across factories and infrastructure projects.

This role ensures strong project execution, uninterrupted utilities performance, automation improvement, buyer compliance readiness, and centralized coordination among consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

  • Lead and control all electro & mechanical execution works across factory units and projects
  • Manage factory utilities including power, substation, generators, boilers, HVAC, compressed air, water, steam, fire systems & ETP/STP
  • Ensure preventive & corrective maintenance systems for maximum equipment uptime and efficiency
  • Lead project planning, installation, testing, commissioning & handover of electro-mechanical systems
  • Review designs, BOQs, drawings, layouts & technical submittals for quality and compliance
  • Drive automation initiatives for utilities, machinery systems, energy efficiency & process improvement
  • Ensure readiness for Buyer Audits, RSC, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety & statutory compliance requirements
  • Lead corrective action closure from buyer audits, compliance inspections & internal assessments
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays/risks, and ensure timely execution recovery plans
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors & internal departments for seamless execution
  • Verify contractor/vendor bills against approved PO/WO and actual progress
  • Ensure implementation of electrical safety, LOTO, earthing, machine guarding & safe work practices
  • Control engineering documentation, AutoCAD updates, reports, dashboards & management MIS
  • Lead technical team development, discipline, performance management & succession planning
