Experience:
Formulate, review, implement, and monitor KWT`s Procurement Policies and Guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational objectives, while continuously updating them to reflect best practices.
Manage high-value and high-risk procurement projects, ensuring effective delivery, quality, cost optimization, and risk mitigation across all KWT units.
Ensure procurement considerations are integrated into all strategic decisions, supporting KWT’s focus on value for money and efficient use of resources.
Lead, manage, and support the development of Procurement Office staff, conducting performance reviews, providing training, and ensuring team members meet operational and financial targets.
Oversee the Procurement Plan by allocating projects and responsibilities within the team to meet timelines, budgets, and procurement goals.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement service levels and standards, ensuring effective bidding processes, resource utilization, and evaluation of organizational performance.
Provide assurance to senior management (including the Director of Kumudini Hospital and Principals of Kumudini Nursing College, Women’s Medical College, and Bharateswari Homes) that all procurement projects meet the expected standards and targets.
Develop and maintain effective supplier management and contract management systems, ensuring favorable contract terms, strong supplier relationships, and consistent quality in supply chain management.
Promote staff awareness of procurement policies, procedures, and developments, ensuring alignment with procurement guidelines across the organization.
Produce high-quality procurement documentation, including reports, tender materials, contracts, negotiation records, and debriefing reports for unsuccessful tenders.
Ensure compliance with all KWT staff policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and mandatory training, and manage procurement records in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management, contributing to special projects and addressing evolving procurement needs.
