Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Industrial Engineering Preferably from Shah Jalal University of Science & Technology.
∎ Skills Required: English as well as computer literacy, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, strong communication skills, Team building and leading for creating complete IE based environment for production management.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ General Manager (IE, Planning & Operation) will be responsible for managing overall operation of both projects.
∎ Preference will be given to those who are efficient in improving factory efficiency through establishing IE based production.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The job responsibility involves overall production with quality standard of both facilities.
∎ Production planning, SMV calculation, Monitor the work floor for maximum utilization of Man, Machine and Materials.
∎ Efficiency calculation of all workers on a daily & monthly basis and take necessary initiative to increase individual efficiency.
∎ Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management and to give necessary directives to the production team of the unit regarding the production plan.
∎ Lead to implement different lean tools (5S, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, Visual Management system etc.) in order to improve productivity.
∎ Line balancing to ensure as per planned pick target for all styles from layout starting to proper capacity study.
∎ Oversee day-to-day operations of all lines by conducting time study and motion study. Prepare and provide reports with analysis to the Managing Director.
∎ Ensure on time shipments with zero defects.

∎ Factory operations, Production Management, establishing IE culture etc.
