Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum HSC.
∎ Diploma in fire safety course from fire service & civil defence(FSCD) is mandatory.
∎ Other's certification in fire safety procedures will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop fire safety policies and initiate and drive the implementation of fire safety program.
∎ Monitor and ensure that facility fire protection system and safety equipment are fully functional.
∎ Assist in planning and supervision of Fire Emergency Plan, Evacuation plan, etc.
∎ Conduct training on basic fire fighting techniques (Both theoretical and practical) and evacuation matters.
∎ Conduct regularly-scheduled safety inspections within and throughout the facility. Make recommendations to address unsafe conditions or unsafe practices and, with approval, initiate corrective action. Re-inspect as required to observe ongoing compliance.
∎ Responsible for the facility's safety budget in terms fire safety equipments requirements.
∎ Conduct fire safety meetings on a regular basis in all facilities.
∎ Conduct investigations of accidents or near accidents including determining cause, assessing property damage, and preparing reports with recommended corrective actions.
∎ Ensure the accuracy of the accident recording system.
∎ Assist in conducting fire drills and other events.
∎ Identify and eliminate any potential fire hazards
∎ Submit fire safety inspection report to the management on a regular basis.
∎ Review all on-site construction and contracted repairs activities to ensure they are in compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
∎ Ensure insurance claim where applicable and report to the management.
∎ Performs other duties as assigned.
