Educational Requirements:
∎ BA/MA in Fashion Design & Technology or Apparel Manufacturing Management & Technology

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ In depth knowledge of Zardosi work and other forms of embellishments on ethnic/bridal wear
∎ Able to manage design process from conception through to final product
∎ Capable of identifying new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
∎ Sound knowledge on fabric, stitching, printing, embroidery, accessories, embellishments, trims for maintaining production quality standard
∎ Possession of excellent sense of design, style and color
∎ To create seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
∎ Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.
∎ Selecting fabrics and trims.
∎ Creating production sketches by hand and illustrator for development packages.
∎ Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.
∎ Reviewing product for style and fitting
∎ Availability to travel for research and product development.
∎ Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
∎ Ability to meet multiple deadlines

Additional Requirements:
∎ Relevant Experience for minimum 1 years
∎ Illustrator skills
∎ Have a sound understanding of design and production
∎ Effectively plan workload & prioritize tasks and achieve deadlines
∎ Commercial aptitude and trend awareness

Salary: Negotiable
