Educational Requirements:

∎ Proven experience (5 years) in factory or operations management within the furniture manufacturing industry, preferably medical furniture.
∎ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methods.
∎ Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decisions.
∎ Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
∎ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
∎ Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
∎ Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of production supervisors, line workers, and support staff. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
∎ Production Planning: Develop and execute production plans, schedules, and targets to meet customer demands while maintaining optimal resource utilization. Anticipate and address potential production challenges and bottlenecks.
∎ Resource Optimization: Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth production flows. Monitor production processes to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and maximize productivity.
∎ Quality Management: Implement and enforce strict quality control standards to ensure that all medical furniture products adhere to specifications, regulations, and industry best practices.
∎ Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall factory performance.
∎ Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce a strong culture of safety within the factory. Conduct regular safety audits, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
∎ Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and prevent shortages.
∎ Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to assess factory performance. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
∎ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
∎ Training and Development: Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to factory staff. Identify skills gaps and implement training programs to enhance the capabilities of the team.
