Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect, clean, and manage data from various operational processes such as production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain metrics.
∎ Maintain and update operational databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
∎ Analyze production data to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to improve production yield and reduce downtime.
∎ Perform cost analysis to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes, material usage, and labor costs.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and help optimize resource allocation.
∎ Create regular operational reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production efficiency, order fulfilment rates, and cost per unit.
∎ Present data insights to management and department heads, using data visualization tools to communicate complex data clearly.
∎ Provide data support for decision-making related to staffing, equipment maintenance, and production scheduling.
∎ Use data to support quality control measures and product consistency across production lines.
