Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Process Optimization.
∎ Analyze current production workflows and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
∎ Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard production times and optimize labor utilization.
∎ Develop capacity planning to ensure that production meets demand without excessive overstock or delays.
∎ Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance product quality and production processes.
∎ Work to identify the root causes of defects and implement preventive measures to reduce waste and rework.
∎ Conduct cost analysis on materials, labor, and machine use to reduce overall production costs.
∎ Identify and minimize waste in raw materials, labor, and energy consumption.
∎ Design and continuously improve the layout of the production floor for better workflow and space utilization
∎ Analyze workforce productivity and implement strategies to improve employee efficiency.
