Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare and maintain daily Cutting MIS reports and conduct style-wise SMV (Standard Minute Value) calculations.
Perform time studies, capacity analysis, and production studies to identify productivity improvement opportunities.
Monitor lay planning, marker efficiency, daily cutting input, and fabric status to ensure smooth production flow and minimize fabric wastage.
Analyze and balance manpower allocation based on production requirements and machine capacity.
Review style-wise technical sheets before production and establish production targets and monthly cutting plans.
Ensure effective implementation and regular follow-up of 5S practices in the cutting department.
Coordinate with Planning, CAD, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted cutting operations.
Monitor cutting efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and efficiency reports for management.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous process improvement projects within the cutting section.
