Responsibilities & Context:
Developing fabric standards and ensuring that they are maintained standards.
Offer technical support and carry out analysis of fibers, fabrics and finishes.
To source new fabrics and work with mills and dyers to engineer products. Carry out color testing of fabrics and approve laboratory dips.
Oversee a short sample run and monitor-the quality of knitting, dyeing, finishing- for potential problems before ironing.
