Strong leadership and team management skills.

Mentally ready to work at the NIGHT SHIFT on the regular basis.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, warehousing, transportation, other related concepts.

Experience with ERP systems.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety protocols.Ability to understand the importance of on-time delivery.

Understanding of business functions as well as factory.

Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

Preference will be given to the Applicants having experiences in the SS Pipes and Tubes Manufacturing Company.

Must have the skill on manpower management.

Must have patience to listen to any say of the employees.

We are looking for a potential, pro-active, energetic, enthusiastic Incumbent for our Distribution Dept. of a large SS Pipe factory with a state-of-the-art setup, producing a wide range of world class SS Pipes and Tubes. The Incumbent has to handle solely the night or day shift of the Distribution Department with proper controlling the drivers and helpers of the transport dept. of the Factory located at Choydana Hazirpukur, National University, Gazipur.

Job Descriptions :

• Overseeing and optimizing the entire distribution process, ensuring efficient and timely movement of the goods from the warehouse to the customer to meet the delivery deadline, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.

• Monitoring, data analysis, and reporting, and often leads teams to achieve distribution goals.

• Creating and executing strategies to improve distribution efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries.

• Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.

• Developing efficient delivery routes and schedules to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery of products.

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of distribution personnel, including dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff, to achieve performance goals.

• Ensuring that all distribution operations comply with relevant regulations and safety protocols.

• Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries or product availability.

• Identifying areas for improvement in the distribution process and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures throughout the distribution process. 

• Working closely with sales, production, and transport teams, as well as with external partners like transportation companies and distributors, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.

• Addressing any issues or delays that arise during the distribution process, such as transportation problems, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions.

• Generating regular reports on distribution performance, analyzing data, and providing insights to management.

• Coordinating with procurement and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory. 

• Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the Higher Management time to time.
