Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Planning
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure management of Environment, Health and Safety with objectives /evidence/record/implementation.
∎ Comply and ensure the local and corporate legal requirements related to the Environment, Health and Safety.
∎ Implement the risk analysis process related to the EHS.
∎ Update EHS action plans resulting from Environment, Health & Safety.
∎ Participate in EHS audits and ensure the implementation of resultant corrective / preventive action plans.
∎ To Authorize Safety Permits for activities like hot work, confined space work & work at height.
∎ Investigate job related accidents and ensure the implementation of resultant corrective / preventive action plans.
∎ Arrange external laboratory test of water, drinking water, air emission, work station light and sound as per requirement.
∎ Coordinate to obtain legal permits applicable to the facility (Environmental License, fire license etc.)
∎ To conduct section/machine/process/product wise Risk Assessments & training on the basis of Risk Assessment report.
∎ Monitoring, developing & maintaining the Emergency Response/Contingency Plan and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
∎ Provide technical support to Senior Management on any safety related issues.
∎ Manage to Track regular change of all sorts of EH & S related local & International Laws & standards accordingly.
∎ Formulate & Implement the EH&S related Forms, Registers, Checklists etc.
∎ To monitor pest control issues.
∎ Management of Monthly EH&S Performance Meeting, Safety meeting, prepare Meeting minutes & distribute accordingly.
∎ To ensure that the wastage are properly handled.
∎ To ensure that the management system of Health, Safety & Environment conforms to the requirements of national & International Standard.
∎ Reporting on the performance of the EH&S management system and on opportunities for improvement to top management.
∎ To ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management
