Responsibilities & Context:
As the Electrical Engineer – Washing & Dyeing, you'll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing electrical infrastructure—from substations to control panels—across washing and dyeing units. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring safety, and enhancing sustainability in a growing, lean-driven factory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain electrical systems including substations, generators, UPS, IPS, MDB, DB, and lighting systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Support design and installation of electrical infrastructure for new projects and renovations.
- Prepare technical specifications, load calculations, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Monitor energy usage and support efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Raise and follow up on purchase requisitions for electrical items, spare parts, and consumables.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure compliance with standards.
- Coordinate with other departments for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, NFPA, and local electrical codes (NEC/BNBC).
