Strong knowledge of washing processes,
chemical application, shade development, and testing procedures.

Snowtex Washing & Dyeing Ltd. is looking for a competent and experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Lab (Wash) to lead and manage the washing laboratory at its Dhamrai, Dhaka facility.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the washing laboratory, including sample preparation, testing, and result analysis.

• Develop and execute wash recipes according to buyer requirements and production standards.

• Ensure laboratory test results comply with international standards and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Merchandising, and Buyers for wash development and new wash effects.

• Conduct chemical and physical testing related to washing processes.

• Monitor lab-to-bulk execution and ensure consistency between laboratory development and bulk production.

• Analyze wash test results and take necessary corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain proper chemical inventory, documentation, and laboratory records.

• Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of chemicals in accordance with company safety standards.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure timely calibration and proper functioning.

• Maintain records of lab reports, chemical trials, standard recipes, and development activities.

• Lead and supervise the washing laboratory team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for wash quality, process efficiency, and cost optimization.
