Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters degree in relevant discipline from any reputed university/institute with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
∎ Bachelor of Urban and Rural/Regional Planning will be preferred

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assisting the organization in adopting Macro Settlement Plan (MSP) and mainstreaming the MSP at the Camp level in coordination with the relevant govt. and non-government stakeholders.
∎ Analyze data on conditions such as site location, drainage, or structure location for environmental reports or landscaping plans.
∎ Inspect proposed sites to identify structural elements of land areas or other important site information, such as soil condition, existing landscaping, or the proximity of Shelter management facilities.
∎ Collaborate with architects or related professionals on whole building design to maximize the aesthetic features of structures or surrounding land and to improve energy efficiency.
∎ Conducting feasibility assessment for new construction considering MSP, Disaster Risk, and other guidelines
∎ Preparation of Meso Plan, Camp Plan and Site Plan as required.
∎ Conducting training on the implementation of Site Plan and Site Planning standards
∎ Conducting training on the implementation of Site Plan and Site Planning standards
∎ Conducting gap analysis to identify the priority projects
∎ Oversee implementation and monitoring of sectorial activities
∎ Monitor Shelter Construction activities in the camp and align them with the Site Plan and Site Planning Standards
∎ Mapping Shelters, existing physical features, and ongoing activities
∎ Establish and maintain relations with all stakeholders and ensure that site planning/site development activities are conducted in a manner which guarantees staff and refugee safety in the site.
∎ Assist in any process of improving the camp's environment to provide the refugees with a better living environment.
∎ Prepare regular reports on the work progress of various urban planning activities and provide settlement planning inputs to the technical units through bi-weekly/monthly Situation Reports and quarterly & annual reports
∎ Perform other related duties as required.
∎ Stakeholders' coordination, networking, advocacy:
∎ Carry out advocacy activities to promote Shelter Cluster objectives as well as ensure utilization of community and participatory based approaches in needs assessments including carry out training sessions as required and ensure appropriate information management.
∎ Developing and maintaining a unified shelter database, monitoring systems are in place to review impact of Shelter Cluster activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
