Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters degree in Development Studies, Social Science, Gender Studies, Fine Arts, Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Anthropology or any discipline from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure community mobilization, proper survey and selection of learners, trainers and volunteers, and get them enrolled in the vocational training.
∎ Ensure good maintenance of the training centers and training facilities including constructions, modifications and repairing of the centers where necessary.
∎ Responsible and lead the operational side of the center based successful skill training for the project participants in two FDMN camps.
∎ Ensure day to day smooth operations of two skills centers in two FDMN camps that the DPM is responsible for with the help of Assistant Project Officer (center manager).
∎ Contribute in timely and proper construction of the training centers.
∎ Ensure timely attendance of the training participants, so that the facilitators can timely deliver the training contents according to the training modules.
∎ Ensure coordination, supervision, linkage and collaboration with other DPMs, trainers and other relevant staff for successful training delivery.
∎ Provide supportive supervision to the subordinates for smooth functioning of the project.
∎ Ensure the record keeping of learner’s attendance and conduct regular visit to the communities for follow up. Perform regular monitoring, and problems identification and provide solution.
∎ Prepare different kinds bills. Ensure proper monthly cash distribution to the learners.
∎ Report and document project activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
∎ Prepare daily and weekly reports and as may be required by BRAC and the donor agency.
∎ Ensure continuous center monitoring to identify issues, gaps and find out proper solution.
∎ Develop and maintain good working relationships with communities and other stakeholders
∎ Represent BRAC in coordination and collaboration meetings with government including CiC’s, the UN and other NGOs and agencies at the camp level, raise voice as necessary.
∎ Ensure effective communication, coordination with the CiC’s for camps that the DPM is responsible for operating the skills centers, and obtain necessary approvals, if any.
∎ Undertake regular community needs assessments and ensure work plans are reviewed to capture and respond to the changing needs within communities.
∎ Undertake budget planning, tracking and updating to ensure that the budget is up to date at all times and correctives measures taken when issues are raised regarding the budget.
∎ Contribute to the project's M&E system and ensure that M&E activities are undertaken regularly and learning fed into management for decision making.
∎ Execute any other task assigned by supervisor/ management.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge on application of skill development component, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
∎ Knowledge on budget preparation, administration and donor compliance issues.
∎ Knowledge on people management, multiculturalism, Ethics and Supervision.
∎ Have management and Leadership quality
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills.
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel).
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
∎ Excellent organization, and coordination skills.
∎ Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a complex and challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive.
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams.
