∎ Position summary:
∎ The DGM-HR`s primary objective is to manage the delivery of SAEET`s human resources services. In addition to leading the strategic and operational requirements of human resources, the GM-HR will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate HR systems, HR processes are in place to enable continuous improvement and effective and optimal management of SAEET`s employees.
∎ This includes responsibility for providing pragmatic, effective and compliant HR advice and support across the full range of HR functions to the senior management in accordance with the SAEET Strategic Plan and business priorities.
∎ The HR advice and support are required at both an operational level (knowledge, tools, resources to managers so they can confidently lead and develop their people) and a strategic level (information, analysis, planning) for the company.
∎ The GM-HR will play a pivotal role in strategic planning and will be involved in developing HR policies and plans consistent with SAEET`s growth objectives. The GM-HR will ensure that management and staff have the correct balance of resources to meet business expectations and outputs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Required Qualification and Competencies:
∎ Special training on human resource management and development
∎ Membership with international HR societies will be a plus
∎ 3-5 years' experience in similar capacity
∎ Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
∎ Solid expertise in HR functional areas including performance management, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, HR policies and best practices
∎ A substantial experience at a similar position in human resource management in a medium to large company. Ideally, a high level of experience in a human resources function is required, together with an up-to-date working knowledge of employment-related legislation.
∎ Current compensation and benefits provided to locally registered foreign companies
∎ Proven experience in managing policy as well as operational issues.
∎ Clear understanding about local labour law
∎ Sound knowledge on the best practices for staff welfare
