Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare solutions, reagents, and samples for various laboratory procedures.
Receive and test resin properties—such as viscosity, pH, solids content, and gel time—for urea-formaldehyde (UF), melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF), phenol-formaldehyde (PF), and other adhesives.
Conduct tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Continuously monitor adhesive mixing and application processes to ensure consistency and quality.
Test finished plywood and doors for moisture content, bond quality, formaldehyde emissions, and physical strength parameters. Maintain accurate documentation and report findings to all relevant stakeholders.
Accurately record experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and technical reports.
Provide timely updates and reports on resin, chemicals, and raw materials to production and the plant head.
Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
