5+ years in apparel QA within vendor / factory environment in Managerial level.
Experience working with USA, Europe or Australian Brands highly preferred.
Proficiency in inspection tools, testing protocols, and quality reporting systems, on line data management.
Responsibilities & Context:
Purpose of the Job role:
To lead the vendor`s quality assurance and risk management efforts for apparel products supplied to brands in USA, Europe and Australia. The role ensures that all products meet retailer specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations through proactive quality planning, testing, and collaboration with retail QA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Standards:
Interpret and implement Brand specific product quality manuals and testing protocols.
Ensure all products meet brand-specific requirements for performance, safety, and labeling.
Apparel Risk Analysis:
Conduct risk assessments for apparel products during bulk production.
Identify risks such as shrinkage, color bleeding, seam failure, flammability, and chemical compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks through design changes, process controls.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
Oversee in-house and third-party testing for fabric, trims, and finished garments.
Monitor pre-production and inline inspections to ensure consistent quality.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for failed tests or customer complaints.
Fact Responsibilities:
Act as the primary quality contact for Brand’s QA teams.
Conduct final inspections, audits.
Factory Process Control:
Implement quality control systems across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
Track factory exams on retailer expectations and quality KPIs.
Monitor production lines for adherence to approved samples and specs.
