Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

A reputed 100% Export oriented RMG Group is looking for a skilled HR & Admin professional to manage and streamline human resources and administrative functions. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR & Admin professional will also coordinate training programs, handle employee grievances, and foster a positive work environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to support the smooth operation of the office and enhance employee satisfaction. Moreover, he has to  take necessary steps to make GD, FIR or participate in any other legal procedures on behalf of the company as and when needed.

Job Responsibilities

Human Resources Management

  • Ensure development and implementation of HR policies & Procedure to support the company's business objectives in accordance with legal perspective and cost control in respective administrative activities

  • To continually assess and evaluate manpower planning.

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop workforce plans aligned with production schedules.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.

  • Assist in workforce planning, performance evaluations, and career development programs.

  • Handle employee grievances, disputes, and conflict resolution in line with company policies.

  • Utilization of all human resources properly by ensuring 100% efficiency.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance tracking, and leave management.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain records related to employee benefits, bonuses, and incentives.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and efficiency.

  • Work with department heads to identify training needs and organize workshops.

  • Maintain training records and track employee progress.

Compliance & Legal Affairs

  • Have to ensure required compliance in the factory premises implemented as per buyer code of conduct.

  • Support to all type of Compliance audits (Social/Technical/Fire & Safety/Building and Electric Safety/BSCI/ SEDEX/WRAP/Environment/OCS/GRS/GOTS and other Certification Audits)

  • To support the compliance team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare corrective action plan (CAP) based on External, Internal, first party & third-party social compliance audit Follow up civil construction & mechanical maintenance issues

  • Ensure the company adheres to labor laws, safety regulations, and corporate policies

Administrative Operations

  • Preparation / Issue office order & circular in respect of Admin issues.

  • Manage HR functions including office time, leave management and disciplinary functions effectively.

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of all company vehicles and monitor all mode of transportation in and out of the factory.

  • To maintain liaison with local govt. offices (PS, DC, Industrial Police, FSCD, Labor office, Titas gas, BERC, BGMEA).

  • Ready to take necessary steps to make GD, FIR or participate in any other legal procedures on be half of the company.

  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facility management.

  • Accountable for transport management. Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and event planning.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

  • Organize team-building activities, employee engagement programs, and celebrations.

  • Implement employee wellness and health programs.

  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work culture.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare HR-related reports (e.g., turnover, retention, employee satisfaction) for management review.

  • Track and report on key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality in handling HR documents and employee records.

  • Support management with strategic HR planning and decision-making.

  • Initiate any other task assigned by the management.
