Experience:
· Minimum 10 years experience in security management and protocol including at least 5 years proven track record in leadership role.
· For retired army personnel will be given preference.
· Knowledge in local law/regulations and best practices relating to security systems.
· Strong working knowledge in essential security metrics and all aspects of security systems process and technologies.
· Ability to assess risk.
· Interpersonal and communication skill, including tact and diplomacy.
· Ability to lead, supervise and delegate tasks and authority.
· Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people while maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

Job Context
As leading Garments manufacture and exporter, We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly potential and versatile professional for the above-mentioned position.
A full-time security management responsibility needing frequent supervision, monitoring and coordination on matters relating to security of personnel, material and information in all units/ establishments of the Lusaka Group;
Accomplish security risk assessment of the company and set appropriate plan to reduce organization’s security & safety related risk;
Provide leadership and direction in all areas of security, security best practices and security programs/initiatives; collaborates with internal and external groups/stake holders to effectively resolve security related issues.
Monitor security conditions and conduct ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources, and formulate appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
Ensure compliance with regulatory or statutory laws, organization’s policies and top management’s expectations; keep liaise with local, and state law enforcement and other related government agencies.
Reporting to the Management on any breach or likelihood of occurring any security related problems in the Group.
Directing and supervising security and intelligence operations and overseeing the performance of subordinate security personnel.
Formulating security plans, policies, standing operating procedures and instructions to ensure sustained and integrated security environment in the Group.
Maintaining written reports such as daily logs and incident reports related to the security and safety matters.
Direct the security personnel how to tackle any untoward incident arises.
Check the list of routine visitors for unwanted persons access into the factories.
Ensure fire drill practice time to time.
Conduct security surveys, inspection and checks of various units and establishments and recommend measures to be taken on the identified weaknesses.
Investigating on any breach of security including theft, sabotage, accidents etc within the Group installations/ persons.
Planning and organizing security training for subordinate officers and staffs including special training on use of various electronic and communication equipment/devices.
Initiate any other task assigned by the management.
