Educational Requirements:
∎ A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Leather Technology) from any reputed university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee the quality control of raw materials, accessories, and finished footwear and leather goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards
∎ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the timely delivery of the right products in the right place
∎ Conduct thorough examinations of footwear and leather goods to assess and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
∎ Monitor the operation of lab equipment, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistency and accuracy in testing and analysis
∎ Visit producer factories regularly to determine the need for corrective actions in the manufacturing processes to meet quality standards
∎ Analyze the root causes of quality-related problems and promptly implement corrective actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
∎ Review quality-related customer feedback and collaborate with relevant teams to initiate improvements
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of quality reports and all relevant documentation to support quality control
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in leather lab operation roles
∎ Understanding of different testing methods such as ISO/ SATRA/ASTM /DIN etc.
∎ Knowledge of product quality control processes such as QMS/TQM/AQL
∎ Good understanding of Leather processing & product manufacturing
∎ Knowledge of product and product safety procedures
∎ Should have knowledge of quality testing perimeters
