Job Context:
∎ Bir Metal Engineering & Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is a newly established Metal Hardware manufacturing company. The Factory is located in Daulatpur, Board Bazar, Gazipur. Bir Metal Engineering & Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is a China-Bangladesh Joint Venture company.
∎ Day/Night Duty (Roster Duty).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for making an effective Daily/monthly production plan/advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with marketing, production, and another relevant team.
∎ Reviewing production plan with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely delivery through strong production follow-up.
∎ Prepare and design layout of man, machine, and materials based on order to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
∎ Analyze and develop plans for improving workflow, space, and labor utilization and design equipment layout.
∎ Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability and follow-up floors for effectively planning implementation.
∎ Forecasting targets for daily and monthly & work with a team to achieve the target and monitor hourly production records as a set.
∎ Identify & Implement various systems to minimize the cost, waste time, and increase efficiency.
∎ Do the pre-production activity or relevant style/product.
∎ Conducting the capacity study, time study, and method study in each and every style.
∎ Enforce and ensure section & process-wise SMV and SMV reduction for smooth operation.
∎ Update and maintain efficiency report, variance report with WIP, skill inventory, and monthly style-wise closing.
∎ Responsible for order-wise input/output record.
∎ Analyze the critical processes and ensure process standardization.
∎ Reviewing operators' skill level (monthly) for performance evaluation and ensuring corrective action.
∎ Find the bottleneck from the first hour and whole day report and chase till solved.
∎ Ensure training & motivate workers to achieve the target without compromising quality.
∎ Apply 'Work Study" techniques to improve the overall floor performance.
∎ Ensuring effective communication with the supply chain team to ensure smooth productivity.
∎ To collect daily production data and other performance data.
∎ Any other work assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Consumption knowledge.
∎ Long time & Hard-working mentality.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills.
∎ Skills Required: Email Communications, Microsoft office, what's app.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory management, Production/ Operation Management.
∎ Must have capacity to run independently automatic nickel and chrome plating plant.
∎ Must have complete knowledge about the properties of chemicals that used in chrome/nickel plating.
∎ Must have practical experience in using chemicals considering product quality.
∎ Diploma engineering experience should be 5 years and B.Sc. Engineering experience should be 3 years.
∎ Work experience in light Metal engineering/Manufacturing will be given preference.
∎ Able to work independently with a tight deadline and deal with work procedures.
∎ Must be able to take responsibility with honesty, sincerity, and professionalism.
∎ Must have a mentality to work in a group company with multiple tasking and responsibilities.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Manufacturing process, Production, Manufacture.
