Responsibilities & Context:
The role is responsible for managing the Offline Coating (Gum Tape) production line to ensure consistent quality, safe operations and optimum productivity.
Operate and monitor coating machines (Solvent-based / Water-based)
Set machine parameters such as temperature, tension, speed, coating thickness and curing conditions
Ensure coating quality as per specification (GSM, adhesion, COF, surface properties)
Troubleshoot process-related issues
Conduct trial runs for new products, raw materials, or process improvements
Monitor and reduce wastage, defects, and downtime
Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and R&D teams
Maintain production reports and process records
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
