Additional Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience proven track record in commercial management.
- Probably preferable from commerce background.
- Minimum 2 years working experience on same position.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making skills and pro-active.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (computer application).
- Must have typing skill both Bengali and English.
Responsibilities & Context: Job Context: We are looking for interested candidate as an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the Commercial department of a 100% export oriented and renowned garments group. The candidate must be play a vital role in overseeing and managing the import and export processes, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations and to take on challenges to deliver high-quality results.
Job Responsibilities:
- To correspondence all banking transaction.
- To co-ordinate with all activities with all section of commercial department (Export, Import, Bank, Custom Bond, Insurance, Audit and EPB).
- Responsible for monitoring overall activities with other and inter department, outsides parties, government offices, local liaison offices of the buyer, bank and audit firms etc.
- Work with professional efficiently, trustworthy, committed and dedicatedly.
- To ensure close monitoring with C&F Agent, Shipping Agent for Export-Import formalities.
- To arrange renewal of all company license.
- To maintain Export & Import statements.
- Properly Endorsement Import doc. & sending to C & F agent to release goods.
- To follow up back to back limit, PC limit & term loan facility.
- To liaison with BOI, EPB & Customs Authority.
- To prepare, submit and maintain all necessary reports & records (as desired by higher Management.) within stipulated time.
- To handle Export & Import documents (EPB, Bank & BGMEA).
- To maintain liaison with Banks, Customs authority etc.
- To maintain effective communication with Merchandising Dept.
- To coordinate with the suppliers, shipping and C & F agents for timely completion & delivery of all the orders.
