Additional Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Rolling (Pulpit Operation)
Basic computer knowledge.
Basic maintenance and fittings knowledge of machines/equipment.
Smart, ability to concentrate, good presence of mind.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
To know the thorough operation of entire finishing area also understanding of inter logic of relevant equipment.
To input every details of Bundle into Level-2 system.
To communicate with main pulpit operator regarding heat change, mill start/stoppage, synchronization with rolling mill and finishing area.
To keep constant watching on bar delivery from cooling bed to bundle picking from collecting area.
To give special attention to the co-workers working at cooling bed area.
To fill up the finishing pulpit logbook meticulously.
To intimate the production shift in-charge regarding functioning of all.
To maintain communication with maintenance department whenever any problem arises.
To complete setting of all the elements between finishing stand to cooling bed entry including pinch rolls, tail breakers, PQS and convey pipe etc.
To maintain the uniform weight of bundle and quality of bundle tying.
To ensure affixing of appropriate tag fixing to the bundle with correct details.
To maintain correct discarded length through proper communication with main pulpit operator.
To attend pass change, stand change and size change jobs whenever required.
To maintain housekeeping and equipment cleaning whenever opportunity comes.
To provide support to the cooling bed technician whenever required.
To maintain manual operation of cold shear from LCS whenever required.
Physical observation of Cooling bed to finishing area for any abnormalities.
To manage Scrap bucket.
