Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain supervision of preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance of EOT/overhead cranes.
Maintain proper functioning of electrical systems including motors, VFDs, control panels, limit switches, brakes, pendant controls, PLC systems, and sensors.
Plan and execute scheduled inspections, load testing, and statutory compliance checks.
Monitor crane performance and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Root-cause analysis for recurring crane electrical faults.
Attend and resolve emergency breakdowns with minimum production loss.
Coordinate with mechanical teams during major repairs and overhauls.
Identify critical spares and ensure availability to avoid downtime.
Support modification, modernization, and automation initiatives for crane systems.
Suggest improvements for energy efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, crane safety norms, and statutory regulations.
