Experience:
Lead the development of new products from concept to commercialization.
Oversee the formulation of products & SOPs, ensuring the desired quality, taste, texture, and nutritional requirements are met.
Innovate and improve existing products to enhance quality and market competitiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in food technology.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new product development.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand market needs and consumer feedback.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure seamless product development.
Ensure all products comply with local, national, and international food safety and regulatory standards.
Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs.
Work with the quality assurance team to establish product specifications and quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on product quality and innovation.
Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, including production, quality control, and marketing.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product development and manufacturing processes.
Source new ingredients and technologies that can be incorporated into product development.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all R&D activities, including experimental data, formulations, and project reports.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies in the R&D process.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies and processes to enhance product development efficiency and effectiveness.
Any assignment given by the management.
