Menu knowledge with ability to explain dishes and suggest items
Order accuracy and multitasking under pressure
Table setup, hygiene, and service standards.
Responsibilities & Context:
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience
Present menus, explain dishes, and assist guests with food and beverage selection when required
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and drinks promptly and in a professional manner following service standards
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained before, during, and after service
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle basic complaints politely
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining area, service stations, and equipment
Follow proper cash handling and billing procedures when assigned
Coordinate with kitchen and other team members for smooth service flow
Follow all restaurant SOPs, safety, and hygiene regulations
Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for new guests efficiently.
