Experience:

• 5 to 7 years

• Technical qualification in textile technology/garment engineer /Sweater Manufacturing.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree

• 5 to 7 years

• At least 7/5 year(s) in a similar position working for/with a European Retailer

• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

• Sweater Manufacturing, Linking, Knitting, Pattern making,

• Cad knowledge and 3D software knowledge will make advantage

• Experienced working with CLO-3D

• Very good command in Computer and operate Cloud Software.

• Fluent in English to communicate with foreign officials.

Our fast growing retail organization is expanding our business in Europe. For our Bangladesh liaison office we are looking for professional candidates to fill the following position:

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Sweater specs, work out consumption based on buyers tech packs.

• Must have Keen Knowledge in different kind of gaze of sweater products.

• Keen Knowledge in different kind of sweater yarns, analyzing knitting, linking & mending – all type of sweaters

• Keen Knowledge and Expertise in sweater design chart, sweater technology, yarns count and consumption, measuring weight .

• Must have knowledge on Chart/ Pattern Making and fittings ideally for Italian and Europe market

• Reviews/understands buyers tech packs and comments and explain /advise factory the development of samples accordingly.

• Work on set target to fits/PP sample and minimizing rejection. Work on first shot approval.

• Provide remedial advice to factories on the detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship & construction of Sweater, Yarns & defects, etc.

• Maintain liaison with internal Technical Team on a day-to-day basis for obtaining approval on production samples to a commercial standard, as specified by our overseas head office

• Capable to solve technical problems of sweater during development & production stage.

• Capability to support the supplier’s organization to get the products required, familiar with quality engineering, products developments, production follow up and controlling tools

Employment Status: Full-time: From Monday to Friday

Workplace: Uttara, with the requirement to travel to vendors if/when needed.
