  • Age At most 45 years

Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Science/Disaster management, or any other discipline. Candidate with a BPEd (Bachelor of Physical Education) Degree will be prepared

Year of Experience: 3 years of practical experience in Sport Team management and coaching.

Mandatory Requirements:  · 

  • Skilled in camp level Administration.·      

  • Good communication skills in English and Rohingya Language·        ,

  • Report Writing skill, and strong interpersonal skills.·       

  • Skilled in Coordination with the CIC office, UNHCR, and other relevant stakeholders. ·       

  • Skilled in arranging the sport tournament,·       

  • Knowledge in Akash TV program, Solar, and Community centre management.·       

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).·       

  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities. ·       

  • Supportive Supervision.

Responsibilities & Context:

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the Sr. Officer-S4P for implementing `Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project` funded by UNHCR, located at Ukhiya & Teknaf Cox’s Bazar)

Position Title: Sr. Officer-S4P

C. Key areas of performance /Responsibility /Accountability:

C.1 Sports for Protection Program Implementation

·Ensure sports fields are safe, functional, and regularly maintained for community use.

·Develop and implement a community-led sports field usage plan on a roster basis.

·Mobilize community members and volunteers for care, maintenance, and ownership of sports facilities.

·Identify community-preferred sports and prioritize inclusive participation.

· Facilitate the formation, strengthening, and functioning of sports clubs within the camps.

·Identify and mobilize participants, coaches, and venues for trainings, workshops, and competitions.

·Organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, inter-camp competitions, and mega events such as Sports for Peace / Refugee Football Events.

·Support Sports for Protection stakeholder meetings and contribute to implementation strategies.

·Design and implement sports-based activities that foster social cohesion, peaceful coexistence, and inclusion among refugee and host communities.

·Facilitate training sessions on sports skills, rules, integrity,  safeguarding, and codes of conduct.

·Develop and implement camp-level work plans for Sports for Protection activities.

·Mobilize refugee and host community members for active participation in sports programs.

C.2. Coordination and Representation.

·Maintain regular coordination with community leaders, youth groups, sports clubs, and local organizations.

·Establish and maintain linkages with CiC offices, UNHCR, local authorities, and humanitarian partners.

·Represent CODEC in relevant block meetings, coordination forums, and sectoral discussions as required.

C.3. Administrative and Logistic Management

  • Oversee administrative management of S4P activities, including records, registers, inventories, and store management.

  • Coordinate and support, including planning, community mobilization, and documentation

  • Provide frontline administrative and operational support to Staff and volunteers, attendance tracking, leave management, and support cost processing.

  • Store management, liaison with HR and finance for Smooth S4P operation

  • Ensure regular maintenance of the Fields and surroundings, including WaSH facilities and drainage systems.

C.4. Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation

·Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, trainings, meetings, and event outcomes.

·Facilitate and document sports club meetings and formation processes.

·Collect, compile, and submit daily, weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annual reports.

·Lead regular debriefing and experience-sharing sessions with volunteers and community members.

·Monitor sports activities and assess their impact on participants’ well-being, protection outcomes, and social cohesion.

·Maintain and regularly update databases of sports club members, coaches, volunteers, and participants.

·Provide regular feedback and updates to the CBP Coordinator on progress, challenges, and changes in club composition.

·Establish and maintain organized filing, documentation, and record-keeping systems to support program implementation and reporting.

  • Uphold CODEC’s Code of Conduct, safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, confidentiality, and “Do No Harm” principles at all times.

  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Organization.

Safeguarding & PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)`s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
