Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect samples and conduct quality analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and others according to approved procedure
∎ Utilize UV spectrophotometer, polarimeter, FTIR, HPLC, Karl Fisher Titrator and other instruments to analyze the specimens
∎ Check and ensure that CIP is completed correctly prior to production
∎ Check the quality of products in process and ensure all chemical test (Brix, Acidity, pH, density and packaging integrity), physical and organoleptic properties conform to standard specification
∎ Check whether packing, labeling and coding are done as per prescribed standards
∎ Conduct, calibration and validation/qualification of equipment and analysis test methods
∎ Maintain inventory & management of laboratory accessories, reagent and instruments
∎ Maintain documentation, develop and upgrade of SOPs, method & record keeping
∎ Investigate out of specification results utilizing structured problem solving and root cause analysis
∎ Support GMP compliance, plant cleanliness, critical hygiene procedure and ensuring its effectiveness
∎ Take part in all related activities to implement Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System in the factory
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
