Experience:

Strong knowledge of food processing, freezing technologies, and cold chain management.
Deep understanding of food safety and HACCP processes, ensuring compliance with global Acts, Ethics, and Standards.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking an innovative and motivated Research and Development (R&D) Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager with a specialized focus on frozen food products. This role requires a candidate with a strong academic background combined with technical knowledge of food science and technology. The R&D staff will be responsible for creating and refining frozen food recipes, experimenting with new processes and ingredients, and maintaining high quality standards while meeting product development goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with formulation development and a keen understanding of consumer preferences, market trends, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine innovative frozen food recipes to meet company standards.
Develop formulations for new product development to include: sourcing ingredients, assessing machinery requirements, establishing manufacturing processes for new products.
Conduct research on current market trends and consumer preferences for insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, quality assurance and export team.
Ensure all frozen food products meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine products.
Develop new cooking techniques and processes for frozen food production.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support product launches.
Maintain meticulous records of all research and development activities.
Analyze and critique experimental data to inform future innovations.
Prepare product costing based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products.
Responsible for Export oriented product development and establish new process line.
Source and evaluate new ingredients for potential inclusion in recipes.
Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas comply with sanitation standards.
Provide standard operating procedure to the quality assurance team to ensure effective application of quality management techniques.
Food product packaging design and development.
Supplier evaluation and approved supplier selection.
Any other task assigned by the Management.
