Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist with the development and implementation of HR resources for the resort
∎ Assist with development & implementation of Training Plans and conduct management skills trainings and follow-up
∎ Support in filling positions with qualified candidates on a timely manner - builds & maintains relationship with potential employee sources
∎ Works with various departments to identify position requirements and recruit candidates that demonstrate a good fit with the resort's culture
∎ Encourages employees to explore new roles within the resort through personal / professional development
∎ Supports the administration of HR & benefit issues and ensures adherence employment laws of Bangladesh
∎ Maintain employment records in accordance with the law of Bangladesh
∎ Provides payroll & benefits with required information for accurate and timely processing of employee information
∎ Coaches departmental manager on effective ways to motivate employees which support employee engagement
∎ Actively support and promote workplace health & safety with the work environment
∎ Controls costs by adhering to standards of operations for forecasting, budgeting, scheduling and payroll control and other expense management systems

∎ Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the resort which are aligned with Resort's overall mission, vision values and strategies
∎ Develops and implements strategies and practices which support employee engagement
∎ Communicates effectively with guests, management, employees, and head office
∎ Adheres to resort policies and procedures

Additional Requirements:
∎ Beneficial attributes would be a highly motivated leader, passionate, driven, an excellent communicator, able to multitask and think quickly under pressure. People management skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills and proficiency in MS office applications are also key pre-requisites. Minimum 1 - 2 years of HR experience in a full service hotel / resort. The incumbent should be a resident of Bangladesh and must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand Bengali and English. Fluency in communicating with UK and USA based Non-Resident Bangladeshis in their respective local dialect will be an added advantage
