Responsibilities & Context:

Ventura Leatherware Mfy. (BD) Ltd., a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise located in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari, is seeking a competent and dynamic professional for the position of Officer – Recruitment. The Officer – Recruitment will be part of the Human Capital Management (HCM) Department and will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring high-quality talent to support the organization’s growth and operational needs. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and Bangla, sound knowledge of recruitment practices, effective negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify recruitment requirements by reviewing manpower plans and consulting with hiring managers to understand workforce needs.

  • Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines through partnerships with educational institutions, recruitment agencies, and online platforms.

  • Prepare and publish job advertisements and actively source potential candidates using diverse recruitment channels.

  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates based on job requirements and organizational competency frameworks.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant departments and facilitate the overall selection process.

  • Manage onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth and effective integration of new employees.

  • Maintain liaison with local institutions and organize talent hunt initiatives, internship programs, and campus recruitment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and proper documentation throughout the recruitment process.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance employer branding and overall recruitment effectiveness.

  • Support additional HR activities as required based on business needs and organizational priorities.
