Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

To lead and manage all HR and administrative functions of the factory, ensuring efficient workforce management for over 600 employees across 3-shift operations, maintaining compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, and fostering a productive industrial relations environment aligned with OLiLA Group’s corporate HR strategy.


Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, L&D, attendance, leave, and separation

Manage manpower planning and ensure optimal workforce utilization

Maintain accurate HRIS/ERP records and reporting

Ensure smooth HR support for 3-shift operations

2. Industrial Relations (IR)

Maintain healthy worker-management relationships

Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

Conduct domestic inquiries, show-cause processes, and corrective actions

Prevent labor unrest and manage union-related matters

3. Compliance & Legal

Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and regulatory requirements

Maintain readiness for internal and external audits

Manage all compliance documentation, licenses, and certifications

Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies

4. Administration Management

Oversee factory administration including security, transport, canteen, and accommodation

Manage vendors and service providers

Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and facility maintenance

5. Performance & Development

Implement performance management systems (PMS)

Identify training needs and coordinate development programs

Develop succession planning and talent pipeline

6. Employee Engagement

Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs

Organize events and motivation activities

Improve retention and workplace satisfaction

7. Policy Implementation

Implement corporate HR policies and procedures

Develop SOPs for factory HR and administrative processes
