Experience Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience in the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior managerial compliance position.

  • Must have extensive experience handling Primark Compliance requirements.

  • Must have hands-on experience managing RSC (RMG Sustainability Council) inspections, remediation, and compliance activities.

  • Experience working with internationally recognized buyers and third-party audit bodies will be highly preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, and international compliance standards.

  • Thorough understanding of social compliance, fire & electrical safety, building safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health & safety.

  • Excellent knowledge of CAP, root cause analysis, and audit management.

  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and decision-making ability.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

A leading export-oriented Ready-Made Garments (RMG) manufacturing company is looking for a highly competent, experienced, and dynamic Senior Compliance Manager to lead the Compliance Department. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with buyer requirements, local labor laws, international standards, and regulatory obligations while maintaining a safe, ethical, and sustainable workplace.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall compliance function for the factory.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer Codes of Conduct, especially Primark Ethical Trade Requirements, and other international compliance standards.

  • Handle all RSC (RMG Sustainability Council) inspections, remediation activities, follow-up actions, and documentation.

  • Coordinate and successfully manage buyer social, technical, environmental, and security audits.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, SOPs, and internal control systems.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor factory compliance regarding health & safety, fire safety, electrical safety, building safety, environmental compliance, and worker welfare.

  • Conduct internal compliance audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Liaise with buyers, third-party auditors, regulatory authorities, and certification bodies.

  • Maintain all compliance-related records, reports, and documentation.

  • Lead compliance training programs for employees, supervisors, and management.

  • Work closely with HR, Administration, Production, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure continuous compliance improvement.

  • Prepare periodic compliance reports and present compliance status to top management.

  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective action plans.

  • Perform any other compliance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
