Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and oversee HR, Administration, and Legal functions to ensure compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies on legal matters, disputes, litigation, and corporate compliance.
Draft, review, negotiate, and monitor contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents to safeguard organizational interests.
Ensure timely renewal and compliance of all statutory licenses, permits, registrations, and certifications, including Trade License, Drug License, Manufacturing License, IRC, ERC, BSTI approvals, and other regulatory requirements.
Liaise with government and autonomous bodies such as RJSC, BIDA, BSTI, DPDT, RAJUK, City Corporation, Deputy Commissioner's Office, and law enforcement agencies on behalf of the organization.
Oversee land-related legal matters, including land tax, holding tax, documentation, property records, and intellectual property/trademark protection.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, corporate governance requirements, and other applicable laws by developing and implementing HR and compliance policies.
Lead recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and separation processes.
Supervise all administrative operations, including office facilities, transport, security, utilities, store management, office supplies, and asset protection.
Monitor vehicle administration, ensuring timely renewal of registration, fitness certificates, insurance, tax tokens, and maintenance records.
Prepare management reports, ensure proper documentation, and perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
