The Shift In-Charge is responsible for managing and supervising all production activities during the assigned shift to ensure smooth operations, optimal output, and adherence to quality standards. This role involves executing production plans, optimizing manpower and resources, maintaining accurate shift records, and minimizing process losses.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement daily/weekly production plans as per company targets
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production goals
Report production performance and deviations to management
Optimize output per man-hour during the shift
Minimize process losses and wastage
Ensure proper utilization of materials and equipment
Supervise and coordinate shift workforce activities
Motivate and guide team members to improve productivity and efficiency
Identify training needs and support skill development of subordinates
Maintain production records, shift reports, and incident logs
Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of reports
Support MIS (Management Information System) reporting
Ensure adherence to quality standards during production
Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Report and respond to any non-conformities or process deviations
