Context:
The Assistant Engineer – Electrical Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all factory electrical systems and machinery. This role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment installation, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to support uninterrupted production.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and machines.
Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and automation systems.
Analyze equipment malfunctions and take corrective measures to minimize downtime.
Maintain and update all electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and factory regulations.
Coordinate with production and mechanical teams to ensure smooth and continuous production flow.
Monitor energy usage, maintain energy efficiency, and propose improvement initiatives.
Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and generate required reports.
Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and ensure availability when needed.
Submit time-to-time reports and updates to the Manager – Maintenance.
