Responsibilities & Context:
• Supervise and control overall yarn dyeing operations during the assigned shift
• Ensure right-first-time dyeing, shade consistency, and accurate color matching
• Monitor recipe execution, chemical dosing, temperature, and process parameters
• Coordinate with Lab, QC, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams
• Ensure proper utilization of package/soft yarn dyeing machines
• Troubleshoot dyeing issues such as shade variation, unlevel dyeing, spots, etc.
• Maintain production records, batch cards, and daily shift reports
• Ensure safe handling of dyes and chemicals in compliance with EHS guidelines
• Minimize re-dyeing, wastage, and machine downtime
• Guide, train, and motivate operators and helpers to achieve daily production targets
