∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for employability skills for Career Hub. Provides managerial leadership and coordination, implement content development activities and training facilitation for employability skills and career development for SDP`s participants.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Direction:
∎ Develop and implement strategic guidelines for effective career development training courses for Skills Development Programme (SDP) and the pedagogy and curriculum are updated according to the changing demand of the programme.
∎ Develop and review training content and curriculum on employability and career development-related courses for SDP.
∎ Creating resources to support learning objectives such as handouts, workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, videos, or podcasts.
∎ Training Facilitation & Evaluation:
∎ Facilitate training sessions focusing on soft skills, employability skills and staff capacity development
∎ Facilitate ToTs with trainers, and resource persons to conduct sessions on employability skills and capacity development and any other newly developed materials
∎ Measure the effectiveness of training programs by conducting evaluations with participants and managers after a course has been completed as well as Carry out the surveys to measure the effectiveness of the training content
∎ Digitisation of Training Content:
∎ Develop training content for digital facilitation.
∎ Provide expert advice to inform investment decisions related to skills and learning resources, including the adoption of new technologies.
∎ Coordination & Communication:
∎ Work closely with the consultants, and designers and coordinate between SDP and external /resource persons to ensure that SDP's training content is relevant and updated.
∎ Create promotional materials to promote the training program to potential participants, visitors, and representatives from other institutions at fairs and open house events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound Knowledge on Skills sector
∎ Knowledge on facilitating capacity development and counselling
∎ Agility to learn with collaborative mindset
∎ Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
∎ Sound knowledge on Microsoft Office
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant field. (Experience in training module development, facilitation National Accreditation/Trainer-Assessor Certification, innovative pedagogy is preferred)
