Experience:
Any experience regarding using ERP software for construction materials estimation and update, will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of residential building construction work methodology both sub-structure & super-structure including finishing.
• Sound knowledge of construction and finishing materials.
• Experience in using ERP software to estimate & update building materials.
• A minimum or basic knowledge regarding AutoCAD.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong reporting, dashboard preparation and data analytics skills.
• Review and verify site-prepared quantity calculation sheets against approved BOQs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost control.
• Vet site material requisitions and incorporate approved requirements into the ERP system for further procurement and project execution.
• Determine the minimum required material quantities by analyzing inventory reports and ERP data, ensuring uninterrupted project operations while minimizing unnecessary expenditure and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with project teams to review and negotiate material wastage percentages and allocate materials based on approved and justified requirements.
• Verify material quantities, unit rates, and budget allocations against procurement requirements to ensure compliance with approved project budgets.
• Analyze monthly material consumption reports to identify unusual consumption patterns, variances, and potential cost-control issues, and initiate corrective actions where required.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to maximize the reuse of available hardware, materials, and project assets, minimizing unnecessary purchases.
• Review and verify refund sheets submitted by CSD to ensure the accuracy of returned materials and prevent the issuance of excess materials to customers.
• Ensure appropriate management approval or acknowledgement is obtained for expenditures exceeding approved project budgets.
• Collect and consolidate monthly material consumption data from project sites and prepare comprehensive material consumption reports for management review.
• Prepare and maintain the Cost Control COP-listed Material Vetting & Update Schedule based on iWBS reports and prepare monthly COP-listed material update summaries.
• Systematically scan, organize, and maintain test reports, approved drawings, agreements, and other project documentation on the designated server for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of management approvals and acknowledgements related to expenditures exceeding approved budgets.
• Conduct site inspections and physical verification of high-value/COP-listed materials to validate quantities and ensure alignment with project records.
• Conduct site visits as required to verify completed and ongoing works against approved drawings, ensuring compliance with design requirements and project specifications.
