Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Coordination and guiding TB team focusing all component of TB control programme. Overseeing implementation of quality service provision of TB-HIV activities and ensure staff capacity development through supervision, mentoring and training. Analysis programme performance and taking appropriate actions for further improvement. Ensure logistic support as required. Provide overall guidance to the team to achieve programme goal and objectives.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, designing and development of project proposal/concept note along with other documents (result framework, work plan, budget, MOU, ToR etc.)
∎ Planning and mobilise the resources for optimum utilisation and smooth implementation of the programme
∎ Monitor and supervise TB HIV collaborative activities of the Tuberculosis Control programme in field level through extensive field visit
∎ Provide technical support and ensuring capacity building of the programme staff relating to TB-HIV activities
∎ Monitor the implementation of planned activities through report analysis, review meeting and field trip etc.
∎ Contributing in development of relevant policy and strategy at national level
∎ Communicate and coordinate with government, NGO partners, and other technical partners
∎ Coordinate with BRAC different departments (finance, advocacy and communication, procurements, etc)
∎ Participate and represents organisation in different forum, meetings and conference both at national and international level to contribute achieve programme goals
∎ Practice and promote BRAC Gender Policy. Support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge on project management & implementation and programme strategy
∎ Knowledge on financial and human resource management
∎ Knowledge on donor management and supply chain management
∎ Knowledge on health system and health management in Bangladesh
∎ Excellent speaking and writing skill both in Bangla and English
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Excellent public relations, partnership, communication, coordination and networking skills
∎ Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills
∎ Excellent presentation, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills
∎ Excellent emotional Intelligence, performance management and team building skills
∎ Risk identification/mapping and management
∎ Multitasking ability and to meet deadline
∎ Dealing with ambiguities and conflict management
∎ Minimum 08 years of relevant work experience in Public Health sector including 02 years experience of HIV field at management level.
