- Additional professional training and certification in procurement and logistics management preferred.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with all clients, peers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work hands-on, independently, and within team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with officials from Banks, vendors and stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to work throughout Bangladesh required.
Responsibilities & Context: As one of the Leading renewable energy and electrical engineering company we are actively in search of a dynamic and self-driven Professional to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Develop and implement a strong local procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and supplier diversification.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers/vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues promptly.
- Generate purchase orders for required materials, equipment, and services.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of orders.
- Collaborate with finance and accounts teams for payment processing.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational needs.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or shortage.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Work closely with departments such as project, Operations and finance and contribute to process improvements.
- Uphold ethical standards in all interactions with vendors and stakeholders.
- Market and supplier visit.
