Responsibilities & Context:

As one of the Leading renewable energy and electrical engineering company we are actively in search of a dynamic and self-driven Professional to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.

  • Analyze all in hand L/C(s), requirements of supplier, transport capability to make delivery schedule and deliver the goods within shipment period.

  • Making LC/TT and other bank related works for import. Prepare import invoice as per L/C terms, submit to Banks, and negotiate/Purchase. Operations regarding HS Code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Insurance and other related Govt. laws applicable for Import Operation.

  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms. Cultivate strong relationships with global and local vendors. Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Coordinate with customs agents and freight forwarders for smooth import processes.

  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.

  • Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) for imported goods. Collaborate with shipping companies and carriers for efficient transportation.

  • Forecast demand and plan inventory levels for imported items.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to international procurement.

  • Stay informed about geopolitical changes, currency fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.

  • Uphold ethical standards in all interactions with vendors and stakeholders.

  • Identify and onboard new freight forwarders.

  • Market and supplier visits.
